March madness is upon us, literally and figuratively! This action-packed time of year is quite the blessing though. Our greatest hope is that you have time to stop and smell the roses. While you are out doing that, check out the new tree!

February Highlights:
Remember the tree that had seen its last days and was removed from the property recently? An anonymous donor has placed this new sycamore in its place in honor of "All those who help us grow". Folks don't just recover at the Outreach Center of West Houston, They grow! Stay tuned for all of the growth as new leaves begin to sprout.
We got to attend The Energy Corridor District's public safety meeting. When it comes to scammers, spammers, phishing attacks and more, DTA. Don't Trust Anything that comes at you. Question all. If you need to confirm a person or business is who they say they are, you will always be able to trust information you went out and verified yourself.
Did you notice something new on the lobby counter? There is a new suggestion box for all of your anonymous suggestions. We would love to know what is on your heart so we can make every attempt to do something about it.
There have been some long-awaited cleaning projects that we are now on the other side of. Our biggest one to celebrate is the restrooms. A high-level scrub and waxing took place! Had you noticed the floors? Who knew a restroom could bring such joy!

March 22: OCWH Time Capsule & Tree Dedication Event, 10:00 a.m.
We are quite honored by the actions of our anonymous donor who donated the new sycamore. We invite everyone to join us for lite refreshments as we formally dedicate the tree, as well as celebrate our over 20 year history with the burying of a time capsule! See you there!
Needed: 4-packs of toilet paper, dishwashing liquid (32 oz or smaller), garbage bags, household cleaners (32 oz or smaller), paper towels, and boxes of tissues. Items should be left in the container in the Foyer/Narthex. *Also, there will be a restocking day at MAM on Sunday, May 19, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
This year we will RUN WITH THE FORCE for the 6th annual PDASH. Running on theme – or with a full costume – is encouraged!! Funds raised enable prevention and recovery for young people and families from the devastating effects of drug and alcohol abuse.
