Hello {{Constituent First Name}}!
It's beginning to look a lot like... the holidays. With so many different people from so many different backgrounds crossing paths by way of OCWH, this time of year may look a little different for each one of us. One thing is for sure though, light abounds this time of year. May this season shine light on all your blessings and bring new ones in the year to come!
November Highlights:
Thanks to the students, staff, community partners, and PTO parents at Spring Forest Middle School that made Veterans Day extra special. Jorge got to be one of the guests of honor, as he himself is a veteran.
To all of our OCWH veterans out there, THANK YOU for serving!
We came together with the Energy Corridor Rotary Club, Family Hope, and the Operation Turkey crew to help feed 421 meals to our neighbors! It may have been wet and cold, but that doesn't stop bellies from being hungry. Thanks to all who shared your Thanksgiving Day with us!
It is stories like Twilight's that make OCWH a special place. Thank you to all our champions who donate to help us keep our lights on for the 11 nonprofits we house.
(Didn't get to hear Twilight's story? You still can. Click the image to learn more.)
We hosted a Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center holiday blood drive on November 30th. A major thanks to everyone who made it! Shout out to Cynthia Sosa Senjejo from Ambetter - Superior Healthplan for adding to the event. We had a blast saving lives with each and every one of you.
Upcoming Events:
Dec 21st, 5:30 p.m.: Jingle and Mingle with us at the
OCWH 20TH ANNIVERSARY & HOLIDAY PARTY
Lite bites, music, photo ops, and fellowship await!
It takes a lot of time and resources to keep our lights on for the 11 nonprofits that use our building. Whether you have given before or never at all, we are calling on you to be this year's crew of champion Outreach Elves! The T.L.C. of our building is directly made possible through your donations.
January 18th, 7:00 p.m.: Keeping Kids Safe in a Digital Age
OCWH, in partnership with FamilyPoint Resources and Street Grace bring you a training for caring adults to protect their children in this digitial age.
